Finally, I have witnessed all those pages
come to life.
Finally, I hear what those mute
voices were saying.

How many pages later?
My mind is stained by pages
and writing its own.

Aware of the grass, and the fires
aware of us.
The hushed eyes, that like
silent chords —
gift forever.
