Book In Three Sentences

This book is a treatise on the counterintuitive search for things and principles that gain from stressors. Think along these lines: What is Fragile cracks from stress, breaks under pressure, and lacks in resilience. Antifragile is the polar opposite: becomes stronger from stress, builds robustness under pressure, and finds resilience amidst chaos.

Impression

Have you ever come across something that you have thought your whole life, but have been unable to properly articulate? That was my experience reading this book — A summary of my own fragmented ideas, read back to me. This book is the true guide for revolutionaries, entrepreneurs, leaders, and rebels. It lacks the corny, incompetent prose of a cheesy self help book, and instead reads like a dusty tome of long lost wisdom. Common sense, high abstractions, complex mathematics (that are way above my pay grade….for the moment) — Mythology, philosophy, medicine, trading, and a heavy set Italian skeptic who capitalizes on primped suckers that are to trusting of “authority”; these are your guides to antifragility. Will you be achilles who gets taken down by your dainty ankles, or are you the hydra that spouts numerous heads when one is chopped off?
