You proceed
All covered in Tao.
Loraine says depth
Is something we must seek
But creatures of the surface
Do not seek out
The night of the Marianas.
Beings whos luminous lives
Turn depth into dotted space.
Unaware that their movements
Through the dark
Reflect the outer reaches
Of Hoags object
And galaxy NGC 1300
Loraine says “keep it Tao boy”
And I do…for a while
Wondering what nebula,
My tired steps Reflect back
Into the ashen black
Of deep space.
